Oxford is gearing up for a fireworks spectacle like no other. The Oxford Round Table is delighted to announce that its 55th Annual Charity Fireworks Display is set for Saturday, 4th November, in South Park. This year, the event is getting a significant boost through a partnership with local radio sensation, Get Radio, and is expected to draw a crowd of over 25,000 people.

Joseph Garbett, Oxford Round Table Honorary Treasurer and Fireworks Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We’re incredibly excited about the synergy this partnership brings. Get Radio’s community spirit aligns perfectly with our charitable mission, making this collaboration a natural fit.”

Not just a visual feast, the event is also a longstanding philanthropic endeavor. Since its inception in 1967, the Oxford Round Table’s fireworks displays have raised and donated a staggering £1 million to local charities and causes. The partnership aims to amplify these efforts.

Hamish Law, the Commercial Director of Get Radio, said: “We see this partnership as more than just an event sponsorship. It’s an investment in the Oxford community, a way to give back and create a memorable experience for everyone involved.”

The event will feature more than just fireworks. Alongside the breathtaking pyrotechnic display, attendees can look forward to an enormous bonfire, Hebborn’s Funfair, a fully licensed bar, and the exclusive Super Family Tent. Hosting the main music stage are Round Table member and Oxfordshire DJ Nathan Swift, along with Get Radio’s beloved presenters, Rich Smith and Trevor Marshall.

Adding more sparkle to the event, Get Support IT Services has signed on as a headline partner, sponsoring the popular VIP area. Oxford Round Table extends an invitation to local businesses for sponsorship opportunities, encouraging them to contribute to the event’s ongoing charitable mission.

The Oxford Round Table comprises dedicated volunteers who have positively impacted the Oxfordshire community through their tireless fundraising efforts over the past 55 years. Get Radio, Oxfordshire’s favorite radio station, plays music spanning the last four decades and is committed to enriching the local community.

For businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities, please reach out to oxford@roundtable.org.uk for more information. With the combined forces of these community stalwarts, this year’s fireworks display promises to be a landmark event that unites, entertains, and most importantly, gives back to the community.
